What is a Crystal Clear microdermabrasion facial?

It’s a non-invasive procedure that uses tiny crystals to exfoliate the outermost layer of your skin. The crystals, along with a specialised handheld device, gently remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and stimulate the product of collagen. If you’re looking for something to give you a confidence boost with added relaxation this is the perfect treat!

What Crystal Clear facials do we offer?

We currently offer four types of facials, which we’ve included below. Add a prime and peel to the Crystal Clear Deluxe Facial for only £25.

• Crystal Clear Beauty Flash - Microdermabrasion treatment for 45 minutes. £48 per 45-minute session, or 3 for £120 - saving £24!

• Crystal Clear Deluxe Lifting Facial - Microdermabrasion treatment for 60 minutes. Full facial treatment with crystal clear lifting and firming mask. £65 per 60-minute session or 3 for £160 - saving £35!

• Pro Radiance Peel Facial - Peel containing 5 different AHA’s which are a type of deep resurfacing acid that occur naturally in fruits, sugar cane, and milk. £50 per 50-minute session.

• Celluma LED Therapy - Celluma LED (light emitting diode) is a medical grade and FDA approved light therapy treatment.

  First developed by NASA for accelerating wound heeling, LED light therapy is completely safe, non-thermal and non-invasive treatment that uses an array of blue, NIR and red light wavelengths to treat a number of skin concerns such as; acne, psoriasis, redness and fine lines.

  Using low level energy activates cellular metabolism to fully energise and charge cells, resulting in quicker healing and faster cellular repair aiding skin rejuvenation.
  40 Minute - £55 or add on to any crystal clear facial for an extra £25 for 15 minutes.

  For optimal results, we recommend a series of 6 sessions over 2 weeks.

What are the contraindications for a Crystal Clear microdermabrasion facial?

We don’t recommend a Crystal Clear microdermabrasion facial if you have experienced the following; Botox within the past 14 days, fillers within the past 28 days, pregnant or breastfeeding, broken skin, recent sun exposure, diabetes type 1, cancer in 5 years of remission, autoimmune disease, keloid scar, steroids, Roaccutane use within the past 6 months.

Please note that a patch test is required for a Prime and Peel Facial.

Do I need a patch test before the Peel Facial?

Yes. A patch test is required to ensure your skin reacts safely to the AHA blend.

How many sessions do I need?

We recommend a course of 6 sessions over 2 weeks for optimal results, especially for treating acne, scarring, or pigmentation.

Is there any downtime?

No. Crystal Clear facials are non-invasive, and you can resume normal activities right after your session.

Are these treatments suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, microdermabrasion and LED therapy can be adapted to suit sensitive skin types. Just inform your therapist during consultation.

Can I have the treatments if I have had botox?

You can book any of our facial treatments 2 weeks after having botox.

Are these facials suitable for all genders?

Yes, definitely! If you do have facial hair we recommend you shave first as we can’t do microdermabrasion or peel over a moustache or beard.
