Kinesiology

Kinesiology refers to the study of muscles and movement in the body. It is a holistic system of natural healthcare, which uses muscle testing to communicate directly with the body. It can assess a patient's response to any stimulus. Kinesiology is a touch therapy that links traditional Chinese acupuncture, meridians and energy balancing with Western muscle testing and anatomy and physiology. Kinesiology applies a wide range of gentle yet powerful techniques, which restores balance and harmony in the body. It can increase energy and vitality, prevent illness, and relieve physical and emotional pain and stress. It can also detect and correct various imbalances related to nutrition, such as food intolerances, food sensitivities, eating disorders, allergies and addictions.

There is no such thing as the ideal diet that suits everyone, as each one of us is biologically individual. ‘ The ideal diet for a person consists of the right food in the right amounts at the right time in the right way’. Jane Thurnell Reed Nutritional and Health Kinesiologist.

More than ever is it important to create optimum health levels in the body by eating healthy food and the nutritional support we give our body. A whole variety of chronic conditions respond favourably to food/nutritional changes. Many, who suffer from migraine, arthritis, irritable bowel, ME, eczema, cystitis, PMT, fatigue, depression, insomia, tumours etc can benefit from Nutritional Kinesiology.

In this day and age there are numerous major health concerns manifesting as food sensitivities and allergies. By muscle testing, individuals are able to monitor regularly what foods they can tolerate or not. Young children and babies are not excluded from help as surrogate testing can obtain feedback.
