About Power Plate classes

Revitalise in Hove offer classes 7 days a week from as early as 8.30am and as late as 8.00pm for your convenience.

All classes include stretching, toning, core strength & stability and massage. We also use small pieces of equipment in our classes such as hand weights, flex bands, medicine balls, and over balls to add variety to the exercises. We work hard to ensure our classes are always adding new challenges and exercises to keep your motivation and interest.

Beginner class

(First 3 classes only £15, book now)

These classes are designed for those new to exercise or with physical restrictions and for clients new to power plate. If you are used to exercise and have a good fitness level, you can go straight from the beginner class onto the intermediate classes. However, if you are new to exercise, or have any physical restrictions, please continue to go the beginner classes until you have built up an adequate level of fitness to increase the time and intensity of your exercises.

Intermediate class

For healthy individuals used to power plate classes or regular exercise. These classes will tone the entire body and be at a faster moving pace. You must have done at least 1 beginner class before entering these classes, although between 3 and 6 beginner classes is often advised. Some clients may choose to stay in the beginner class longer term. For those who wish to be pushed extra hard, please inform your teacher, although harder options will be given for all exercises!

Advanced classes

A higher paced workout for those wanting to push themselves that little bit further

Post natal

Power plate classes are a great way to get into shape and re-gain your figure after having a baby, especially as there is no impact involved. Please wait until your 6-week post partum check (3 months for C section) before starting and ensure you start at the beginner level.  Our teachers have been trained to ensure you have a smooth transition back into exercise, although if you have any specific concerns or post natal needs we would recommend a course of post natal pilates before entering the power plate classes. In any case, combining pilates with power plate classes would be hugely beneficial as this will target both the internal core muscles and the pelvic floor as well as toning the whole body.

Ski – fit

Power plate classes are a fantastic way to get into shape before embarking on a ski-ing holiday. 2 or 3 classes a week for 4 weeks prior to your trip would give you a massive head start in terms of leg and core strength and stability and overall fitness.

One on one’s

One to one sessions are suitable for those with injuries or exercise restrictions, specific needs or for those who may simply prefer a one-to-one private session. A one on one massage and stretch session would be great for aiding muscular recovery for those training for an event and the price could be shared between 2 people with the same goals. Session last for 30 minutes and cost £20.
