Chi-Gung
is a traditional Chinese health discipline in which
the search for
and the cultivation of Chi (universal energy) is the
goal. These ancient
exercises are gentle yet powerful and are suitable for
almost all ages and
abilities.
Chi Gung exercises are intended to improve health,
increase
energy, revitalise the body and mind, prevent or control
disease, tone the
muscles, tendons and internal organs, improve balance
and posture, reduce
stress, uplift the mood and contribute to longevity.
The drop in sessions will aim to give participants
an introduction to Chi Gung, there will then be a 10
week course studying the famous 'Ba Duan Jin' or '8
Pieces of Brocade' set of exercises
